In short
See the 16 online nowRochester Car Rental delivers rental vehicles directly to the passenger terminals at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). You reserve the car in our booking store, send us your terminal and landing time, and it is waiting at the arrivals curb when you walk out. That removes the three slowest parts of airport car rental: the shuttle ride to the consolidated rental center, the queue at the counter, and the hunt for your assigned bay.

Pick a car and your dates
Our store shows what is actually free for your dates, with the full price including any delivery fee. Nothing is added later.
Send your terminal and time
Message us your flight number, your terminal, McNamara or Evans, and your landing time. If the flight slips, send the new time.
Collect at arrivals
The car is at the curb, fueled and cleaned. Keys, a two-minute handover, and you are on I-94.
The counter is the slow part.
Traditional airport car rental at DTW routes every customer through a consolidated rental facility. After you land you collect your bags, find the shuttle stand, wait for a bus, ride to the facility, queue at a counter, decline the upsells, then walk out to find your assigned bay. On a busy evening that sequence regularly runs past an hour.
Delivery collapses it into one step. You send us your flight number and terminal, we meet you at the arrivals curb with the keys, and the booking is already settled before you land.
Times are typical, not guaranteed. Yours depend on your flight, your terminal and how busy the airport is when you land.
No shuttle leg
The bus ride to the rental center, and the wait for the bus, disappear entirely.
No counter queue
Payment and your booking details are handled in the store before you travel.
No surprise desk fees
The total you agreed at booking is the total you pay. There is no counter, so there is no counter upsell.
No closing time
Late arrivals and red-eyes are handled by arrangement, not by a desk's opening hours.

What travelers ask
- How does car rental delivery at DTW Airport work?
- You book a vehicle in our online store, then send us your terminal and landing time. We bring the vehicle to the arrivals curb at your terminal so you can collect the keys and drive away. There is no rental counter to queue at and no shuttle bus to an off-airport lot.
- Which DTW terminals do you deliver to?
- Both. Detroit Metropolitan Airport has two passenger terminals, the McNamara Terminal and the Warren Cleage Evans Terminal, and we deliver to either one. Tell us which airline you are flying and we will confirm the terminal with you.
- How much time does airport delivery save?
- Traditional airport rental means a shuttle to the rental center, a counter queue and a walk to the parking bay. Delivery replaces all three with a handover at the arrivals curb that takes about two minutes.
- What if my flight is delayed or arrives early?
- Send us the new time and we move the delivery with it. Because we are not a counter with opening hours, a late-night or delayed arrival does not put your booking at risk.
- Where do I return the car at the end of my trip?
- Back to your departure terminal at the time you agreed with us, or to another Metro Detroit address if that suits your plans better. Confirm the return arrangement with us before your trip ends.
- Is airport delivery more expensive than counter rental?
- We do not publish a comparison, because we do not set the counter rates at DTW and they change. Our own side is this: any delivery fee is shown on the vehicle's booking page, the full total including taxes is shown before you pay, and nothing is added afterwards.
- Where at the terminal do I meet the car?
- At the arrivals curb outside your terminal, either the McNamara Terminal or the Warren Cleage Evans Terminal. Tell us the airline you are flying and we confirm which of the two you land at before the day.
- Does someone meet me with the keys, or is the car left for me?
- Someone meets you. We bring the car to the arrivals curb, check your driver's license, hand you the keys and answer anything you want to ask. That handover takes about two minutes.
- What details do you need before my flight?
- Your flight number, your terminal, McNamara or Evans, and your scheduled landing time. That is everything we need to time the delivery. If the flight moves, send us the new time.
- Is the car fueled and cleaned when it arrives?
- Yes. Every car is fueled and cleaned before it leaves us. We own and maintain the whole fleet in-house, so the car that meets you at the curb is one of ours rather than one sourced from somewhere else.
- Is DTW the only airport you deliver to?
- Yes. DTW in Romulus is the only airport we deliver to, and we cover both of its passenger terminals. Away from the airport we deliver to addresses across Metro Detroit.
Land. Walk out. Drive.
Pick your car, send us your flight, and meet it at the curb.
